Join us for BRAVE in Langley, BC on Saturday Feb 27, 2021.
An event for girls aged 12-18! We welcome you to drop by our new Family Life Centre and pick up your BRAVE tote, catered lunch, coffee, prizes, flowers, and more! It is all about YOU today!
Once you have picked up all your complimentary goodies, head to wherever you call home and tune in to our virtual meet-up at 12:30pm. We can share lunch, share stories and introductions, and giveaway more prizes!
Part of your swag will include a USB that will be loaded with all the BRAVE goodness that you can handle – special guest speakers, craft (earring) tutorial, yoga class, fitness class, hair tutorials, and an info session with an RCMP officer.
The idea is that each young person participating in this event would be able to share with thier support person in these special sessions at thier own pace.
Following this event we will begin offering 8 week long Brave Circles, which is an opportunity for participants to come together and build relationships with mentors – as well as work through a journal that has been created specifically to compliment our one day event.
Brave is a catalyst movement to bring together young girls in the community who may find themselves at risk or in vulnerable situations, however, we realize that many young girls are exposed to the realities of society – and so we welcome all girls to our event!
BRAVE Global is an organization that has brought together amazing women who want to reach out and educated girls about the realities of exploitation and trafficking.
